Dewi's hobby, which got out of hand, began out of frustration with the difficult terminology on the average cosmetics label. You can read the full story on our about us page.

Ordering, shipping & returns

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to all EU countries (and some non-EU countries). By clicking "Checkout" in your shopping cart, you can then select your country. If your country isn't listed, please let us know. We ship your package free of charge within the Netherlands for orders over €25.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay with iDeal, PayPal, GPay, ShopPay and your credit card.

How long does it take to receive my package?

Order before 5 PM and we'll ship your package the same day.

Please note: no packages are delivered on Sundays, Mondays, or public holidays.

Can I return my order?

Not happy with your product? Send us an email at klantenservice@thelekkercompany.com. We'll work with you to find a suitable solution.

When do I get free shipping?

If you place an order to the Netherlands for €25 or more, you can select "free shipping" at checkout. We also offer this option for Belgium and Germany, but for orders over €30. Unfortunately, this policy doesn't apply to other countries.

Help! I think I'm having an allergic reaction.

Oh no! That's not nice. Below you can read what's best to do for each product.

Deodorant: Did you have a reaction immediately after applying it? Then you might be allergic to (one of) our essential oils. Try our neutral or sensitive deodorant, which works just as well and is allergen-free. Specially formulated for sensitive armpits. Did you have a reaction after using it a few times? Then it's probably a reaction to baking soda.

Try the following:

1. Use a little less deodorant
2. Mix apple cider vinegar and water 1:1 and dab it on your armpit with a cotton ball. About 4 times a year is sufficient; many people can tolerate baking soda again after this.
3. Apply a little aloe vera before applying the deodorant.

Lip balm: Our Raspberry Lemonade lip balm is allergen-free, but to be sure, you can find all the ingredients here. Orange Vanilla contains allergens naturally occurring in essential oils: linalool, citral, citronellol, and geraniol. If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use.

Sunscreen: Our sunscreen contains allergens naturally occurring in eucalyptus essential oil, namely limonene. If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use.

I am pregnant, can I use your products?

Yes, you can safely use our products during pregnancy. The amount of essential oils in the products is below the maximum percentage permitted during pregnancy.

I am breastfeeding, can I use your product?

Yes, you can use our products while breastfeeding. While it's not harmful, a baby naturally lies close to their armpits while breastfeeding. Some babies find certain scents unpleasant. In that case, it's best to choose our deodorant with a neutral scent.

Do you test products on animals?

No. Don't be silly. Rabbits really don't need deodorant or lip balm.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. All our products are completely natural and suitable for vegans.

Are your products organic?

Our products are partially organic. We indicate this in the ingredients list with an * after the organic ingredients.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Our packaging is made of over 99% cardboard, and therefore can be recycled with other paper. While sustainability is always an option, we haven't yet found a more sustainable packaging that passes the stability test. Do you have a better alternative? Let us know!

Where did your sunscreen go?

Unfortunately, we've discontinued the sunscreen. To function properly in paper pots, we had to create a substance that was too firm, resulting in reduced user-friendliness.

Products are included and allowed to remain in our line with a very high NPS (Net Promoter Score), but unfortunately, our sunscreen just didn't meet that standard. Perhaps we'll return someday with an even better recipe.

Deodorant

How long does your deodorant last?

Our cream deodorant is highly concentrated. You only need a small amount, about the size of a pea, per armpit. If you use the cream deodorant daily, one jar will last you about 2 to 3 months.

Our stick deodorant is used like a roll-on and works best on a clean armpit. Two swipes per armpit are usually sufficient. To prevent staining, check carefully for any residue on your armpit; if not, wipe it off. If you use the stick deodorant daily, one stick will last you about 2 months.

How do I use your deodorant?

Our deodorant is a spreadable cream deodorant. You use it by scooping a small amount out of the jar with your finger. You need about a pea-sized amount per armpit. Spread this under your arms and you'll smell Lekker all day!

The deodorant stick is just as effective as our cream version, but now in a convenient stick.

How often should I use the deodorant?

Our deodorant is highly concentrated. You only need a pea-sized amount per armpit. This is enough to smell great all day long. But feel free to use the deodorant as often as you and your armpits desire.

My deodorant looks strange, what should I do?

Our deodorant is natural, so it doesn't always look "perfect." But if it smells good and feels soft, it's fine. If the deodorant feels gritty, the coconut oil has reacted to changes in temperature. If you rub the grits between your thumb and index finger, they will soften again (a bit like honey!). Still unsure about your deodorant? What exactly is the refill deodorant?

Meet our newest addition: the refillable deodorant stick.

Our wonderful fragrances, but in refillable packaging. This way, you can enjoy your favorite natural deodorant while reducing waste. Nice and easy, nice and sustainable.

How does the refill process for refill deodorant work?

Step 1: Open the case.

Step 2: Turn the ring to the left and remove.

Step 3: Insert the refill without the cap.

Step 4: Twist back and attach the refill.

Step 5: Apply two strokes of deodorant to dry underarms.

Step 6: Enjoy the fresh, fruity scent while staying protected from odor all day long.

Step 7: Store at room temperature for optimal freshness.

Lip balm

How often should I use the lip balm?

As often as you and your lips like. Our lip balms are practically edible and smell amazing. We understand you can't stop using them ;)

Is your lip balm addictive?

No. Mineral oils in other lip balms seal and dry out your lips. We don't use mineral oils and only natural ingredients. Our lip balms aren't addictive, but they are delicious!
