Now that The lekker Company is growing, we would like to give something back. That is why we founded The lekker Foundation in January 2021!
Before, we semi-annually donated 1% of our revenue to a charity or non-profit organization that benefits the planet, helps animals and/or people sustainably. This way when we grow, our impact grows with us.
As of July 1st 2022, we are proud to support Trees for All , and we will be doing so for at least 3 more years!
Our first semi-annual donation has ben done, and at least 814(!) trees will be planted. Half of them on Dutch ground and half in Borneo.
In Borneo there is a need for more forest to give back the orangutans their natural habitat.
We're also super excited because at the end of January 2023, our colleagues will be planting trees themselves in the Netherlands in the region Twente. We'll be posting pictures as soon as we have them!
