Dewi’s hobby that got out of hand began out of frustration with the complicated terminology on an average cosmetics label. For consumers, these are often hard to understand, while your body absorbs much of what you put on it. Compare it to food – you’d also want to know exactly what you’re taking in, right?
With a mission to create practically edible cosmetics, she founded The Lekker Company (formerly lekkerineenpotje).

Meet the team

Next up is Iris, our Operations Manager with a soft spot for karaoke. Not only is she known as the voice of our office, she’s also responsible for making sure all Lekker products get to the right place – and are becoming more sustainable every day.
And then there’s Dewi, the driving force behind The Lekker Company! She started Lekker with €200, 100 glass jars, and Pinterest. Since then, she has grown The Lekker Company to where it is today and is responsible for all the new products we’re launching. Dewi is often out and about, sharing the story of Lekker. She’s an animal lover and has even named her cat Tofu.
Feddo, all the way on the right, is our co-owner who you can wake up for a good Excel meeting. He’s often found in the dunes of Scheveningen with his family. We turn to Feddo when we need help with complex calculations or long-term planning.
