Dewi's hobby, which got out of hand, began out of frustration with the complex terminology on the average cosmetics label. These are often difficult for consumers to read, while your body absorbs a lot of what you put on it. Think of it like food: wouldn't you want to know what you're consuming?
With a mission - practically edible cosmetics - she founded The Lekker Company (formerly lekkerineenpotje).

A simple mission
The Lekker approach to skincare is simple. Keep your skin healthy and happy by using natural and nourishing ingredients, such as organic coconut oil and rapeseed wax. All ingredients in Lekker products are carefully selected to create 100% vegan and cruelty-free formulas. We are passionate about creating honest skincare products, and we do this as consciously and sustainably as possible.

Meet the team
From the left, we have Account Manager Daan, our reliable sales lead extraordinaire! Daan is a serious board game enthusiast and works hard to bring lekker closer to you. Interested in working with us? Daan is ready to help; give him a call or send him an email at daan@thelekkercompany.com.
Next to him is Esther, our new Marketing Manager! You'll often see her in our social media content, but she's also a huge data nerd. Outside of the office, you'll find her cooking up vegetarian dishes with a glass of natural wine in hand.
And then there's Dewi, the driving force behind The Lekker Company! She started lekker with €200, 100 glass jars, and Pinterest. Since then, she's grown The Lekker Company to where it is today and is responsible for all our upcoming new product launches. Dewi is often on the road telling the lekker story. She's an animal lover who named her cat Tofu.
Feddo, to Dewi's right, is our co-owner, the one who wakes you up for a good Excel meeting. He can often be found in the Scheveningen dunes with his family. We talk to Feddo on the phone when we need to make complicated calculations and discuss long-term plans.
And on the far right is Iris, our Operations Manager with a soft spot for karaoke. She's not only known as our office voice, but she's also responsible for ensuring all our delicious products reach their destination and are becoming increasingly sustainable.
