What does BCorp mean?
You may be wondering, what does it mean to be a B Corp company? And why are we as a B Corp company so proud of this certification? We are happy to explain this to you!
Any business can pursue the B Corp certification through the non-profit organization B Lab. Those you begin the process must go through B Lab's thorough application that proves their company voluntarily meets higher standards of accountability, transparency and performance with their socially-driven business practices. Meaning they do good, think good and are good.
In short, creating a positive impact through your companies operations is what makes a B Corp company. At The Lekker Company, we are constantly striving and looking for ways to make positive and sustainable improvements within our company and the world around us. Not only are our products developed with a sustainable mindset but our core values are structured to promote conscious living, healthy habits and sharing the love- that's why The Lekker Foundation was founded in 2021 where we are able to give back by donating 1% of our revenue to non-profits close to our hearts.
